These cherry trees were planted in Wilsonville Town Center Park to commemorate the anniversary of Wilsonville’s sister city relationship with Kitakata, Japan.

Cherry blossoms represent the fragility, beauty, and impermanence of life, as well as renewal and the start of spring.
